Didn't realize how much I liked this until a classmate quoted it back to me.

"The world is changing faster than people are. It is a sad, but true, fact of life. As the world grows smaller and smaller, in large part thanks to the advancement of technology, people are growing closer and closer. However, that does not seem to mean that people are understanding people any better than they ever have. Even well meaning people are misunderstanding what a situation needs because they have not explored the ideas of the new people, but instead, rely on what “everybody” has always known." -From my Family/Child Advocacy Plan paper
